Another great featherweight event held at Inspire in Norwich. This one was organised by the featherweights.org team and            Ed Hoppit of Storm.

Cutlet 540 had a great time for its first real competitive action. We had problems with the sremech at times due to a last minute mod to the rear which I will have to address. We also learnt that we need to make the ram a bit less tight as we are losing power. The wheels will also need changing as driving was difficult due to lack of grip. Finally, and probably our biggest problem on the day was the flex in the flipper blade.........It meant that when we flipped, first the blade flexed and then started to slip from underneath our competitor before getting any lift. So a bit of strengthening required.

It was an excellent event though. The TV crew involvement added to the excitement of the day, and some of the battles were truly spectacular.

Click below for some of the highlights recorded on my cam-corder. I can't wait to get hold of the Professional DVD produced by the TV crew when it comes out, and see Cutlet getting flipped from all camera angles!
